Jesus, You are my everything!
Day in and day out, I breathe in Your grace
and exhale “Thank You.”
I am in awe of Your goodness to me
and for loving me so well.
When I grow cold in my love for You,
pull me in closer.
Remind me of Your lovingkindness and faithfulness.
Awaken my heart with reminders of Your goodness!
You are not disappointed nor angry
when I forget Your mighty deeds and love for me.
You wait patiently;
Like a father at the end of a long road,
You watch the horizon,
longing for Your prodigal daughter/son to come home.
Arms open wide,
You embrace me with the fullness of Your love,
truth, strength, hope, joy and compassion.
You wrap me in bridal garments
and lead me to a prepared seat at Your table.
How can I ever express my gratitude?
Each day, I will lay my life down at the alter.
I will stay in the fire of Your Presence and love!
I will sing of Your goodness forever and ever!
